”Janosi ei sammu, ennen kuin löydät oikean lähteen.”
Pieni kesänäyttely kutsuu katsojan astumaan veden viileyteen. Materiaalit virtaavat huoneiden läpi, minuutit, tunnit, vuodet ja vuosisadat virtaavat mannerten läpi jättäen jälkeensä taideteoksiksi tulkittavia esineitä ja niiden jäänteitä.
Näyttelyn teoksia yhdistävät hidas työskentelytapa sekä pyrkimys ymmärtää materiaalin perimmäistä luonnetta. Pieni kesänäyttely on Barbara Tenutan ja Salla Vallen ensimmäinen yhteisnäyttely.

“Your thirst will not be satisfied until you find the right spring.”
A Summer Exhibition invites the viewer to step into the coolness of water. Materials flow through rooms, minutes, hours, years and centuries flow across continents, leaving behind objects interpreted as art, and their remnants.
The works are united by a slow working method and an effort to understand the ultimate nature of the material. A Summer Exhibition is the first joint exhibition of Barbara Tenuta and Salla Valle.
